HERA
Helping women achieve financial freedom to prevent trafficking and re-trafficking
  • HER ECONOMIC RIGHTS AND AUTONOMY

Since 2005, HERA has worked across nine countries to develop women’s entrepreneurship. HERA has built strong, long term partnerships with local NGOs, universities, and companies to achieve our mission – Help women achieve financial freedom to prevent trafficking and re-trafficking. HERA provides grants to women entrepreneurs to scale up and employ young women at risk of dangerous migration. This year, HERA is again accepting applications from women entrepreneurs in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

  • THE STORY BEHIND THE YELLOW SCARF

Crafted by a talented Armenian entrepreneur, supported through our grants program, our unique yellow scarf symbolizes sunshine, positivity, and the hope for a brighter future. It honors the unwavering strength of survivors of trafficking and those at risk of dangerous migration who seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and achieve economic freedom and autonomy.
